Quality Electrical Services Ltd is arapidly growing company with a friendly team mentality, we’re looking for professional electricians for a range of electrical works with commercial/industrial, as well as working for our reactive maintenance team within the hospitality industry

We require electricians for work in and around the London area. Electrician needs to be fully qualified (currently C&G 2391 or equivalent) and 17th edition, amendment 3, in line with the 18th edition soon to be released.

Preference is given to applicants with C&G 2394/2395 inspection and testing qualifications, IPAF and PASMA but not necessary.

Full clean driving licence.

Positions are available for self employed or PAYE basis.

Rates are negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Operations Manager

Quality Electrical Services are a small but fast-growing company with ambition to continue to grow within the industry. We cater for reactive call out and maintenance works for our regular clients within the catering and entertainment business as well as commercial fit out and domestic works.

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Operations Manager on a permanent basis to join QES. Candidates must have the right skills, experience within the electrical industry, good working attitude with ambition and drive.

Work will be on a full-time basis and applicants should be prepared to travel to sites in and around London where a works vehicle shall be provided

We are offering competitive pay to the right candidate with the relevant experience

Typical working week are 8 hour days, Monday to Friday however flexibility is required with weekend and evening works when required.

Duties of the successful candidate will include…

  • Day to day operations of a team of electricians
  • Responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of all projects.
  • Build strong compelling relationships with Clients, providing a proactive and consistent level of service.
  • Provide technical and practical input to tender processes and documentation
  • Dealing with customers, booking appointments and taking call out requests
  • Ensuring quality assurance within the company
  • Estimating works
  • Managing the health and safety of site operatives
  • Issuing certification and documentation
  • Procurement of materials

Qualifications, experience and attributes…

  • Strong background within the Electrical sector.
  • Experience of multiple Contract/Project /Site Management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise at various levels building strong, compelling relationships both externally and internally.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Experience of implementing and raising awareness of Health and Safety across sites.
  • Proactive, organised and hands on approach with the ability to work well as a team and on own initiative.
  • Experience of providing a high level of customer service.
  • Awareness of continuous improvement, and the ability to continually develop efficiency improvements within scope.
  • Valid ECS card
  • Manager/Supervisor level, SMSTS (preferred but not essential)
  • Full Clean driver’s license
  • Flexible working approach
  • Experience in this or similar supervisory role.
  • Candidates will be expected to be presentable and polite as this is a client facing role.
